Terms of Service

1) Agreement
These Terms govern your use of AorakiPlay’s social casino game and website (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2) Eligibility & Age
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under New Zealand law.
- We may request age verification and may suspend or terminate access if eligibility is not met.
3) Accounts
- You are responsible for your account credentials and activity.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- We may suspend, limit, or terminate accounts for security, compliance, or Terms breaches.
4) Social Casino Only (No Real-Money Gambling)
- The Service is for entertainment and simulated gameplay only.
- No real-money gambling: you cannot wager real money, and outcomes do not award money.
- No prizes of monetary value: the Service does not offer cash-out, real-world prizes, or items redeemable for money.
5) Virtual Currency & Virtual Items
- Virtual coins/credits/items have no cash value, are not property, and are not transferable outside the Service.
- We may modify, remove, or reset virtual currency/items (including balances) to maintain the Service, address errors, or enforce these Terms.
- Where purchases are available, all sales are final to the extent permitted by law, and nothing you purchase can be redeemed for money.
6) Prohibited Conduct
- Cheating, exploiting bugs, using bots, automation, or unauthorised third-party tools.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or unlawful content.
- Attempting to sell, trade, or broker accounts or virtual items for real-world value.
- Interfering with security, servers, or other users’ experience.
7) Intellectual Property
We (and our licensors) own the Service, including software, artwork, trademarks, and content. You receive a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
8) Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that gameplay outcomes will meet expectations.
9) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of virtual currency/items. Nothing in these Terms limits rights and remedies that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (where applicable).
10) Disputes & Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve issues informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved, you may bring a claim in the courts of New Zealand.
11) Changes to the Service or Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
